We have recently been working with a valued returning client on a barn conversion in the Kent countryside. Initially assisting with the procurement and tendering stage by sourcing a contractor, KM Surveying Ltd were then appointed as the contract administrator for the project.

Plans are to convert an existing unused barn into a self-contained annexe to the farmhouse. The challenge is to retain the charm of the buildings original features, whilst delivering a dwelling in line with current building regulations.

KM Surveying Ltd were appointed to provide a cost plan for the re-development of a former pub. Following the initial cost plan KM Surveying Ltd were then appointed to procure a main contractor and provide contract administration services during the project.

The project comprises of 4 units, each with 4 bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, an open plan kitchen diner and off-road parking. The project is progressing well with anticipated completion by summer.

KM Surveying Ltd were appointed by a loyal client to provide a cost plan and subsequent procurement and tendering services, for a significant refurbishment and extension project in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. The finished project will offer 6 bedrooms, multiple bathrooms and extensive living spaces with features to reflect the buildings original character.

KM Surveying Ltd have been providing ongoing contract administration services for this project, which is expected to be completed by summer.

With a contract value of £2m, this project was started in February 2021 and was completed in May 2022. The project required conversion of an existing coach house to flats and the construction of 6 new build units.
